This 1969 Lola T190, Chassis #3 was originally a Haas/Penske team car first driven by Mark Donohue at Sebring. It went on to be raced by Ron Grable in 1970, finishing first at Edmonton and also at Laguna Seca while achieving 5th overall in points for the season. It was more recently the subject of a full restoration by Add-Vintage Motors as the topic of a 3 part video series which documents the restoration process, starting in 2008 and last seen on screen almost completed in 2010. According to all of the photographs, the car has since been finished, although we are thinking they were having too much fun with it to complete a 4th final video. We understand. In fact, we couldn’t understand more.
There is nothing that we could possibly say better ourselves than what the following photos and video series speak themselves, so give your nogin a rest from reading for the moment and just enjoy the pretty pictures and YouTube videos following at the bottom of the page. Don’t forget to find all of the detailed restoration pictures outlined in the right column of this page…
