Video: Maserati Alfieri Concept Car Creation and Build

As you may already know if you follow our posts with any bit of frequency at all, modern cars just don’t motivate us as much as the more visceral and lighter weight vintage vehicles of our past. Although we can’t claim to be overly enthralled by the design of Maserati’s new Alfieri concept car, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to showcase the following video of it’s build and creation here because of it’s connection to the gorgeous 1950’s Pinin-Farina designed A6GCS model that inspired it. The original is a car that we happen to consider one of the finest looking automobiles of all time and while many consider that honor to go to the 1968 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, we feel that the Maserati slightly trumps that car’s design by a few fractions of a point. In any case, 2014 also happens to mark Maserati’s 50th anniversary so expect many more of the automaker’s cars to show up here this year. In the meantime, here’s a warm up…
